Smart2DCutting 3.5

Developer Rasterweq Software came up with the Smart2DCutting application for those who do panel cutting, wood cutting, sheet cutting, board cutting, and so on. So if you work in such an industry, you’re very well advised to get this professional cutting software package. That is if you want a smart and properly good tool for coming up with optimized cutting patterns.

The Smart2DCutting installation file is 6.1MB in size. A simple setup wizard will ask you to pick one of several supported languages and to select the installation directory. You can install the application on top of Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7.

Smart2DCutting has a multi-pane interface. There’s a Jobs pane that’s already pre-populated with five sample jobs, a Panels pane in the lower left hand side, and a Parts pane in the lower right hand side. At the top, in the upper left hand side there are several buttons; click them to access the Settings menu, Print a job, and more. And at the top, in the upper most left hand side, there’s the File Menu.

As mentioned above, the application features some sample jobs. Pick any of these sample jobs, then click through the tabs to view the Cutting Layout, Cost Calculation, Cutting Report, Labels, and Stock Management. The purpose of these sample jobs is to show you what you can do with the Smart2DCutting application.

And speaking about that, by using this application, you can also take advantage of advanced algorithms to come up with optimized cutting patterns so that you will waste as little material as possible. The application saves you money by reducing waste and it once again saves you money by reducing the amount of time spent on creating and analyzing patterns (time is money after all).
